task manager. Many thanks in advance.

Open Task Manager and double-click anywhere on the top Window border.
Somehow, you managed to convert Task Manager to run in "Tiny Footprint Mode".

Click Start, Run and type Services.msc
Locate Terminal Services from the list and double-click it
Set the Startup type to Automatic, and click Apply
Click the Start button to launch the service manually.
Now Task Manager User Name field will show up.
