user name

I entered a new user name by accident. Now it comes up on
boot and I am asked for a password. I don't have the
password. And I don't remember my old default user name
for which I know the password.

I was going to look for a directory name buy trying to get
access in DOS mode. But, I don't know how to enter DOS
mode in WIN2000. And, I'm note sure I could get to
directories without a user name and password anyway.

Help!

1) Start Windows Explorer
2) Go to c:\Documents and Settings
3) You will see several folders including "All Users", "Default".
4) The other folder names are based on all the user names your PC "knows"
about.
