I have asked this question before, but the "fix" that was suggested did not
get rid of the problem. So, I will try again.
I run Windows XP Home Edition with SP2 installed. When I am on the internet
and am entering certain secure locations which require a user name/password -
SOMETIMES, Internet Explorer asks me if I want to save the user name and
password in memory. On some occasions in the past I have accepted this.
Now, I would like to clear both the user names and the passwords from my
memory and I don't know how it is done. I have gone and cleared the
"autocomplete" files on Internet Explorer - several times in fact - and yet,
when I attempt to access certain sites, I am still given my User ID and
password to sign in with.
The Windows box that opens when trying to access a secure site, has a
picture of keys - and the title of the "box" says "Connect to www.abcdefg.com
site ---- the box has a pull down menu so I can select one of several ids
which have been stored - and the "password" is there -
Please help!!!! Thanks.
