User Name Changes

I work in the IT department of an organization with roughly 150 users
in our domain. We run Microsoft Server 2003 R2 and use Active
Directory. Recently, one of our users got married and changed her
name. We changed both her login name and her display name in AD.
However, the user reported that when she creates Word documents, it
stamps the document's author tag with her old name instead of her new
name. After some investigating, we've discovered that this is
happening for EVERYONE who has ever had their name changed. This user
was just the first one to report it (or even care). What are we doing
wrong? Can this be fixed?

Wow, it has to be set for every user individually? That sucks. Oh
well, I guess it doesn't happen that often.

Thanks for your help!

It's a case of the application loading the info when the user
initializes the first time. The other option is to give the user a
completely new profile, and then "auto" have to user the new name to set
up Office.

What scares me is that you work in a good sized IT department and
don't know about this..........

Every one has to start learning somewhere. What's of a greater concern
is that he had to ask here, rather than ask whomever is responsible for
his training.

The user can change this on their own.
