User logoff takes a long time

I have several users who log in to Windows 2000
Professional workstations and when they log off the
computer takes a long time to get back to the login
screen. When I log off or another user logs off, the time
it takes to get back to the login screen is short. So, it
seems to be specific to the users' login or profile. THe
user is not using a roming or mandatory profile. Does
anyone have any ideas what might cause this?
Thanks,
Christopher

start > run > gpedit.msc > Computer Configuration> Administrative
Template
System > Logon > Maximum retries to unload and update user profile ...
set
enabled and to say 5 ... default if not configured is 60!!
