User list in a lcl group

Hi there.

Is there an app that will let a workstation user to get
a list of users in local group in windows explorer?

In NT4, I was able to right click a folder, click "security"
and highlight a local (or global) group name, and then I could
ask for "members" and see names of users that were members
of that group.

Win2K allows me see the group name, but no "member" button.
There has to be a small app that will let me do that.

I am not in domain admin group, but a member of local PC admins group.

Thanks in advance.

Check SHOWMBRS and SHOWGRPS in the W2K Resource kit.

------------------------------------------------

C:\AdminFiles>showmbrs

Usage:

showmbrs domain\group or
showmbrs \\domain\group or
showmbrs group

C:\AdminFiles>showmbrs users

Members of local group [\users]:

NT AUTHORITY\INTERACTIVE
NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users
CHALPHA3\CHzzz
CHALPHA3\NTzzzz
CHALPHA3\ASPzzz
CHALPHA3\Testzzzzzzzzzzzzz

C:\AdminFiles>

Hope this helps.

And always try the MS KB first before posting.
The answer is probably already posted.
