User-level prililages: startup programs

Hello. As I said in a related post, I'm working on a machine where I only
have user-level privilages. This machine also seems to have about 30 programs
run on startup. If I had slightly higher privilages I would look in
HKCU/software/microsoft/windows/current version/run to see what's going on
for me, but I can't open regedit.

Is there some other way I can see everything that would be in HKCU/.../run
for me?

Thanks!

Jim

If you consider the privelige thing the problem, (rather than an annoyance)
then I guess this was two threads. However, desktop icons and startup
programs are two separate "problems" in my mind. ;-)

Okay. Is there a way I can delete this thread?
