User ID's

I am trying to get the users login off of their computer login. I found some
prior posts which directed me to the following website.

www.mvps.org/access/api/api0008.htm

I copied and pasted this into a new module for my database but it doesn't
seem to work. I am either missing a step or doing it wrong. When I log into
Access it doesn't register my login name. Anyone have any suggestions as to
what I need to do to fix this?

Did you make sure to name the module something OTHER than the function name?

I named it login (if you can't tell I'm an Access newbie). Looking at my
database further, it may be I need to know how to get this to run this module
when the user starts it. How do I do that?

When you say it doesn't register the name, how are you expecting it to
register? Are you trying to add it to a table, or what?
