I have an Epson fx-880 dot matrix printer. Before I
upgraded my win98 to winXp I used a user defined paper
size. How do I configure my printer under winXP.

Thanks

Hello Roberto,

I have a similar problem trying to find how to set a user
defined paper size in XP. I've searched this newsgroup and
found 3 other replies that may help us, I've pasted them
below, I hope they help us.
Cheers
------

Go into the Control Panel and click on Printers & Faxes.
From the toolbar, select File, Server Properties and look
in the Forms tab. You can set custom
page sizes here.
-----------
You might find this article helpful:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/...me/using/productdoc/en/print_specify_form.asp
It outlines the way you can specify a paper size for a printer.
-------
You can add a new form in Windows XP that matches the size
and margins of
your pre-printed stationary, and then specify that form for
the printer
you're using.

To create a new form
1. Open Printers and Faxes
2. Open the File Menu, and choose Server Properties
3. Select the Forms tab
4. Check the Create a new form checkbox, and enter the
measurements for the
form.
5. Click Save Form

See
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/...me/using/productdoc/en/print_specify_form.asp
for info on how to select the new form for your printer.

I have the same problem with and Epson AP5500. I created a form in Server properties of .5" x 3" for slide labels. This doesn't show up in paper sizes though when the printer is selected. Neither does custom in the list.
