User credientials problem

Andre

Hi

I am running outlook 2007 on a xp build. There are 2 seperate outlook
profiles running from 2 seperate exchange accounts (different servers) The
problem I have is on one of the profiles the credentials login get stuck on
the taskbar IE I open outlook select the profile i want to use and then the
credentials window get stuck on the taskbar and I cannot sign in. I cannot
maximise the window and when I close outlook I am forced to use the Task
manager to end the outlook.exe process.

Things I have tried.

1, Disabling some addons like itunes ect.
2, Disabled all startup items in msconfig in case a 3rd party application is
interfering.

Recently I have started using Dropbox for sharepoint. could this be an issue?

Really need a resolution to this problem.

Is there a way of reinstalling/reparing outlook without losing my setting.

Please help

Andrew

What do you mean with "gets stuck"? It doesn't want to take the foreground?
Does it work when you use ALT+TAB?

Does it work correctly when starting Outlook in Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe
(note the space in the command)

Reinstalling will not delete any data or settings.
