User Choice Screen

As I am only a single user of my computer, I would like to
eliminate the screen with the icon with my name on it and go
directly to the desktop. How do I do this?

1) Clck Start, Run and enter CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2
2) In the list of users, select the user that you want automatically logged on
3) Uncheck Users must enter a username and password................
4) Click Apply
5) In the next dialog, enter the password for the account you chose in step 2, if any.
6) Ok your way out of all the dialogs.
