I belong to the wksadmin group which gives permission to
install software on the local machine. I gave the user
local admin rights first, then assigned them to the
wksadmin group, and they still can't write to the registry
after I've install the software. (The software requires
each user to install it). There must be some kind of
registry entry that is being written when I do the initial
install that is blocking the user from subsequent
installs. This only happens on XP Pro machines running on
an NT4.0 domain. Does anyone know where I might look in
the registry for a clue to solve this problem? If this is
too generic, I can provide more details.
