3rd party software --Single sign on --RSA

Anybody know which part of security we can check in XP since we did a brand
new Windows XP installation, we logged in filenet through web browser, the
viewer tab for statement and simple search grayed out especially for the
users have no local admin right. (if the user is local admin and it is
working)

We contacted RSA; they could not figure it out. They did say certain code
will prevent 3rd party software. But it is working if a user is local admin.
It looks like some registry code prevents it working.

See if it will work when the user is a power user. If so it most likely is a
ntfs/registry permission problem. Also enable auditing of privilege use for
failure and object access for failure on the computer and look in the
security log to see if anything is recorded for privilege use failure that
may mean the user lacks a user right. Unfortunealy too much software is
written assuming the user is a local administrator. Why? Because the
application developers are lazy. Sometimes there is no workaround. --- Steve
