Can anyone give me some insight on the process in which a
user authenticates to a domain.

I have Domain Controller A which has been running for
over a year. I've just added a new machine to the
network, Domain Controller B which is faster and newer.
I'd like to now have my users authenticating to the newer
machine and maintain Domain Controller A on the network.
How can I do that? Everyone is still authenticating to
Domain Controller A and I've been reading alot but unable
to find anything related to this situation.

Thank you for any advice.

Users will be authenticated by whichever domain controller
responds first.

A periodic task, PCHEALTH, has appeared on our Win98ME machine. I believe
it might be a Microsoft product. Can anyone tell me what it is, what it
does, and if it would be wise to delete it? Thanks.

Wrong newsgroup. WinME is NOT the same as Windows 2000.
Try a Windows ME or a Windows 98 newsgroup.
