user and organisation fields already filled when installing softwares

When i install certain programs the user name and organiusation field
are already filled. This means that the installation program is
picking up this information from somewhere (he regsitry perhaps). Off
and on when installing certain other software these fields do not get
auto filled AND THESE PROGRAMS GET INSTALLED BUT DO NOT WORK WHEN
EXECUTED (no response when program exe file of these programs are
clicked after installation).

May i know why certain programs do not execute after install and from
where do these programs get the infornmation to fill up the required
fields of user name and organisation?

I have all dependencies required by such programs such as dot net
frameword etc

I was told that this sometimes ocurs because i work on a machine
administratoir user account but the problem exists if i create and use
the program through a created usewr account with full administrator
rights

Your assumption is correct that the owner and organization are stored in the
registry, usually at the time the OS is installed or on first-run if the OS
comes preinstalled on the computer. These entries should have no bearing on
the functioning of the software, however. Some software does not use this
information but it is possible that the installation did not go right and
that might also be why these fields are not filled in. In any case, the
data entries are not causative of malfunctions in the software although you
may be seeing symptoms of other problems. Try uninstalling and then
reinstalling the problematic programs. If that does not help then
investigate the manufacturer's website for possible known issues, fixes,
etc.
