I had a friend who used my computer and signed on messenger and everything
and now whenever I restart my computer and the welcome screen comes up and
shows the user account thingy, it tells me that I have not only my unread
email messages, but also hers. How do I delete that email account from my
system?

Download TweakUI, one of the MS powertoys, from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

In the login section there is a setting for zeroing this display or removing
it.

You can accomplish the same thing by editing the registry directly. See
