We got a second computer.

So I deleted my son's and my wife's user accounts from the welcome window on
my computer and, therefore, their logon information. What I didn't know was
that it would erase their personal "Document" folders as well.

In both cases, though, it prompted me to save their files, and I clicked
yes. I just can't locate any of them now. Where are the files saved in this
process -- primarily from their named Documents folders -- if they even are?

Thank you.

Try:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents

Yes, thank you, but I tried that already. Even did a search for some of the
files/folders.

Nothing.

I really thought that I'd clicked on them to "save files" before deleting
and it said that they would be saved in a folder with the user's name on the
desktop. But I guess I didn't.

What about going back to an earlier system restore point?
