when other people have used my computer I don't know how
to delete them from my sign-on window?

Re-configure how people log on/off. Pull up the start
meu, select contorl panel, then user accounts. In user
accounts there's an option under pick a task that says
change the way users log on or off. If you have privacy
or security concerns, do not enable fast user switching
(uncheck box). If you do not use (uncheck ) welcome
screen, then the classic log on screen will appear and
every user will have to type in their name and password to
log on. This is the best security option and each user
will have their own personal settings, files and can only
access files designated for all users. In other words
your "documents will not be available unless you opt to
share these files. The "Learn about" sections are pretty
helpful for user accounts.
