User Accounts......

I recently inherited a used PC from a friend who bought a new one. I can't
get the account that I want to open!

In Window explorer, under "Documents and Settings", it shows 3 different
accounts. they are "Administrator", "All users", and "Owner". They each
have their own Desktop, Start Menu and Favorites.

The one that opens when I turn the PC on is the "Owner", however I like the
Desktop, Start Menu and Favorites from one of the other accounts. How can I
get one of the others to open at start up instead of the Owner's settings ?

Thank you

If these are the only three accounts that your computer has, then Owner
is the main and the only actual user. Because being a sole user- you
are the Administrator and All Users are the settings shared by all
users (mostly it is the Start Menu Items).

You couldn't open All Users for that is common to all and Administrator
account can be logged on by pressing and holding the Shift key while
Windows loads up (through Welcome Screen). But this is not something
that will surely work. You could easily log on to the Administrator
account through the Safe Mode (press F8 as Windows boots). You already
have all the settings in All Users, so you couldn't add anything more.
If you can be explicit which settings you want from Administrator- I
could give more relevant help.
