user accounts - syntax error

I need to remove a user account. When I click the user icon a message window opens "filename, directory, or volumn label syntax incorrect". I click "OK", but there is no other info.; so I am not able to access the accounts to make changes. How do I fix this?

Try this instead START---->CONTROL PANEL--->ADMIN TOOLS---->COMPUTER
MANAGEMENT-->LOCAL USERS AND GROUPS

Highlight the name of the account you are try to delete and delete.

If this doesn't help send me a mail.
