user accounts in win xp

When i turn off the welcome screen and turn off the
faster swithcing feature.The classic logon window is used
in both the safe mode and when i sign on to windows.and i
use the same passwords for both the safe mode and in the
windows login is this susposed to be this way? please
respond.thank you
 
Ofcourse it is meant to e this ways. If you had 2 diffrent passwords for the one accourt what would be the point. The password is the same because it is the same account
