User Accounts control panel not opening

On my XP Home machine, the user accounts control panel will not open. All
other icons work fine, so I'm stumped???

It would appear everyone is stumped, i have exactly the same problem and
can't find any answers.

I've tried logging in in safe mode, i've tried creating a new account through CMD USERPASSWORDS2 and i've tried all the other accounts on my comp and none of them will let me access them through the user account section in the control panel.

The closest i can get to a solution is that something somewhere is corrupt
but until you know what that something is it's a little hard to correct.

Start > Run > nusrmgr.cpl

Does that open it up or do you get an error message?

I have had that problem after I got WORMED all my accounts have become
limited accounts and iI and looking for a fix now
