I am trying to sign on using my account, when I click on it, it is asking me
for the password, after enterring the password, nothing happens, it again
asks for the password, password is correct.

Then I changed my account to no password, using my son's user account, This
time when I click on my user account, nothing happens.... Any ideas, what
needs to be done.

It could be that your NTUSER.DAT file is corrupt.
