user account switch, lost settings

I have recently tried to create a new identity on my
computer, but when I did I am unable to return to my
origial settings on any of the computer's accounts. Does
anyone know what to do.

I'm guessing the your previous account was the "Administrator" account,
which does not appear on the Welcome screen. To access the Administrator
account, hit Ctrl+Alt+Del twice when the welcome screen is visible. Then log
on as Administrator.
