User Account Problems

I am set up as the Administrator, I set up a "Family" account with a
password, and also activated the "Guest" account. But am unable to log on to
either of the other accounts and receiving a message stating basically that
the profile cannot be loaded, and to check to see if am connected to the
network?!? This is a stand-alone system and I simply want to set it up for
different users in the house, but no help/guidance to be found... I'd
appreciate some please. Thank you.

Hi:

I found this discussion thread on the web that troubleshoots problems with
the profile not loading:

The first reply offers several suggestions. I hope it helps.

Regards,
Rob

Yea, nice, but one has to sign up to read the answers, and there is a cost.

Although the page makes it appear that way, you don't need to sign up.
Scroll down past all those ads and you'll finally get to the area where the
thread/discussion is displayed.

Yep, my bad. I guess I am snappy when I see anything "sign up" LOL.

No problem, Tom. That page design irritated me too. One day I just happened
to scroll down and was pleasantly surprised.

Thanks Rob. I took a look at the site but haven't yet had the chance to see
if indeed the solution to my problem is there.

Thanks all for your input.
