User account not loaded, settings gone

Hello,

The following happened:

When logging off and shutting down from windows few days ago, apparently
there was no diskspace left (so I discovered later), and something went wrong
when windows was saving my user profile to disk.

Next time i started up my user account, Windows could not load/initiate my
account and started up a default account for my user.
My user in Windows startscreen is "Martijn", and my 'right' user profile is
"Documents and Settings\Martijn"
The profile of the new default account loaded when i click "Martijn" is
"Documents and Settings\Martijn.TIKKEL"
In which 'Tikkel' is the full name i gave my computer.

With regedit i checked HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList and the associated ProfileImagePath was
directing to "Documents and Settings\Martijn.TIKKEL"
I changed that to "Documents and Settings\Martijn" and now my 'right'
account is loaded again :)

But still some config settings are gone!
I reckon the things unchanged is everything saved in "Documents and
Settings\Martijn"

Is there a way to get everything back as it was?

ow and system recovery is not an option, cos there were no recovery points
at all, cos of lack of disk space.

my system:
Windows XP Home edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 2

Regards,
Martyro
