User account disappeared

One of my user accounts has disappeared from the login screen. It still
exists and is listed from the dos prompt if I type net user. Also if I try
and create it again I get an already exists error.

How can I get it back on my login screen?

In case it helps it disappeared after I used control userpasswords2 from run
and tried to select power user as the account type. I have XP home and it
said this account type was not valid but now the account is hidden from the
userpasswords2 window as well as the login window.
 
In case it helps I can log on to this account by pressing Cntl-Alt-Del twice
at the login screen. It then tells me it is a guest account - I presume I
need to change that setting to a normal user account but can't do so.
