user access rights

Over the past few days we have had occasional user access rights fail. This
issue appears on a files server when a user program attempts to write a file
to a specific directory. The odd point is that every now nd then the programs
will run and complete the transaction of writting the file.

The error reported upon a failure isthat the user does not have the
read/write rights needed to complete the program. These users have Full
Control rights to the entire directory.

Any help out there?

I have a similiar problem, when we try to copy an entire CD to the file
server (W2K ADV) we get "accessed denied" after a few files. I look at the
folder properties and the folder has changed to "read-only"

Hope we can get a fix.
