Usenet messages-not downloading original post.

For some reason in some groups I never see most of the original posts. I
see mostly the posts that have been responded to that begin with Re:. This
only happens on Comcast server and on another I see that same group with the
missing original messages. Can anyone please tell me what is causing this?

Are you downloading ALL the messages, or just some? Click get messages
again, as the default setting is probably only 300. Otherwise go to the
DL setting and raise the number to D/L at a time.
