Its a prblem with your printer telling the printer software that its out of
ink, contact the printer manufacter, or try to clean the contacts for the ink
cartrage in the printer
Most printer manuals have a procedure to reset this warning. Read your
manual.
It usually involves pressing and holding certain buttons and powering off
and on.
Buttons that have other marked functions. Some have software resets. If the
procedures don't work, the printer is defective.
HP tech support said it may be due to some residue building up on the
contact points of the printer, so I should clean them. But with the
accumulation of so many problems with my PC, I called in Geek Squad.
The tech found that my computer was thoroughly infected with viruses,
spywares, & adwares. The only solution was to wipe the hard drive &
start over. Since then I've had no low-ink warnings.
HEADS UP: DO NOT download Xoftware or NoAdware. They do not block
viruses, spyware, or popups but open the computer to let more in. Geek
Squad recommends Norton Internet Security 2006 & SpySweeper.
