Used a Reg cleaner... Now can't get USB to work

Hi all,
Windows XP Pro SP2
I *think* my problem was the overzelous use of a "Registery Cleaner" I do
not have an undo option from the cleaner.
I do not have a system restore point to go back to.
USB is enabled in BIOS.
These entries were removed/uninstalled, the system rebooted. The OS found
the USB items installed drivers, etc., but I still get the exact same error
message.

I have three explanation marks in Device manger...
Standard Enhnced PCI to USB Host Controller
Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller
Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller

All have these have the same error message in the Devce status window...

" Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration
information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19) "

I am assuming that I have to completely remove, or completely create, some
related registery entries.
Please help.
Thanks.

Try digging out that old MOBO CD with the drivers and reinstall the USB
drivers.

Main board is an ECS RS482-M
I have the CD but I can find no reference to USB .
If I let it autorun it just re-installs the onboard video, audio, and LAN,
and RAID. I cannot find anything different on the company web page either.
As always I am open to suggestions.

I never said it didn't create one , now did I ?
I do not have *any* restore points or backups. But thanks for reading of my

Johnny Public:
Have you simply tried to uninstall those USB controllers from Device Manager
and rebooted? Still no go?

Does anyone else care to offer some suggestions?
Please read the post before asking or suggesting to me, something that has
already been explained or tried.
I am stumped on this

No, I'd say you've managed to ensure the pieces are broken bad enough
that a OS install is required.
