Use subforms & activeX cntrl together???

I have a need to show a subform (based on a xtab), months as the column
headers (which of course is not editable) as well as an activeX control which
brings up a editable view of the same data. Does anyone know if this can be
done??? If so, could you share the code????/
 
sorry, forgot to mention that it is preferred this be viewed as a continuous
form.
