Use simple file sharing (Recommended)

I cannot find this under the View tab in Folder Options. Why is this?

I'm trying to give permission to my files and i need to disable Use simple
file sharing (Recommended) to get the security tab and Use simple file
sharing (Recommended) is nowhere to be found.

Why is this?
