Use same PST for two copies Outlook 2003

I am dual-booting Windows XP and Vista. I have Outlook 2003 installed on both
O/S. How do I get both to point to the same .pst file as the primary Personal
file: need calendar, contacts and email out of one .pst.

You need to set up a shared partition that both XP and Vista can read and
write to, then move the pst file to that partition and point each instance
of Outlook to it.

The question is how to point both versions to the same file. Open Outlook
Data just adds the .pst as a second Personal Folders file, and that file does
not receive emails or provide Contacts or calendar

How would I define that pst as a default mail store? I have not seen that
option anywhere...

Mail applet is the same as in Outlook options. I cannot change the location
of the base .pst file: yes, Outlook is closed.

Found the answer: delete the .pst (backup first) you want to re-direct. Then
the Mail applet will ask you for a new location. I can now see my .pst from
Outlook in both Vista and XP.
