I have recently made a mistake and installed Office 2007 ... and HATE IT !!!
The only thing it offers that I like is Outlook 2007, which gives me the
ability to download several web mail messages at one time ... and
accomplishes the set-up so that it works. Word 2007 is the monster that I
hate the most.

Is there any way I can uninstall Office suite 2007, but keep, or reinstall,
Outlook 2007 only? I see no way in the dumb list of options that pops up for
the Remove-Repair option; and Control Panel removes the whole package.

I want to return to Office 2003 .... a more user friendly version .... and
at the same time keep Outlook 2007.
Thanks

Doonbog,
I've just made a related post - I'll be watching to see if responses to you
are any use to me.
From the little I've used it I don't like the Word or Exel interfaces
either, but I put that down to unfamiliarity - but give me the old drop down
menus.

You can but you will lose full intergration with Outlook 2007
You modify your Office 2007 installation to remove components, you can use
the cd to do this

In the long module list for custom installation, etc., I see no way to
uninstall anything ... just use disk or computer, etc.. So how would one
uninstall a module?

Then it won't do any good to go back to Office 2003 and keep Outlook 2007
because in Outlook 2007 Word 2007 is the ONLY editor.

Selecting disk, unistalls
Selecting Computer installs to your PC
If you insert your Office 2007 cd it might be easier, once it runs

Personnally I believe you will regret it as you wont have full use of
Outlook 2007
