The Microsoft webpage has a search feature; in addition, posts are archived on
"Usenet", and can be found by going to http://groups.google.com. Use the
Advanced search option and select this newsgroup (or microsoft.public.access.*
if you may have posted to other specific groups).
Neither search engine is perfect, it's probably best to use both.
Posts to Microsoft's discussions website are posted to an NNTP
server, which propagates the posts to other NNTP servers. NNTP is
the protocol behind Usenet. Usenet is the network, not a server.
Saing "posts are archive on Usenet" is like saying "Web pages are
archived on the worldwide web."
Google provides a service of archiving posts to Usenet, and provides
an interface for searching (and they've bollixed up the interface
over the last year or so, failing to limit results to the criteria
you put in).
But that archive is provided by Google and is stored on Google's
servers.
