Use of Normal.dot file from Office 2003 in Office 2007

Dave

I just purchased Office 2007, and I was wondering how I can use all of the
Styles I created in Office 97, 2000 and 2003, in Office 2007? I have the
Normal.dot file from Office 2003 which holds my created Styles and Macros.
Can someone tell me where I can place this file, and if I will be able to use
my Styles and Macros in Office 2007? Thanks in advance for your help.

If you upgrade to Office 2007, it will automatically use your existing
Normal.dot to create a Word 2007 Normal.dotm. The new file will contain your
existing styles and macros.

If you're installing Office 2007 on a new system, you can delete the new
Normal.dotm that Word 2007 creates (after the first time it's run), and put
your existing Normal.dot into the same folder, and Word will use Normal.dot
to create a new Normal.dotm the next time Word is started.

For the location... click the Office button, Word Options, Advanced tab,
File Locations, and look at the location for User Templates. The latter is
where Normal.dot and Normal.dotm are stored.
