Is there a way to use photos, ie jpeg, gif, etc in the body of an email
without it being sent as an attachment and in such a way as when the person
receiving the emails doesn't get the "red X" boxes in some cases???

I receive spam email all the time with pictures and graphics in the body
that do not show as an attachment.

How can this be done. Do I need new or additional s/w??

Thanks for your help.

Hi,
1)Set OUTLOOK to send messages in HTML format.
2) When you use INSERT < PCTURE <from FILE , it will be inserted in the
message-body.
When you use INSERT FILE it will be attached.

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup like
