Use a hyperlink to access a PAF file

I am setting up a web which will contain genealogy data.
Can I set up a hyperlink - jones.paf which will bring up
the personal ancestry file of jones.paf? If so how do I do
it?

As long as the user has application that the browser recognizes, then the
file will open via the browser in the application, otherwise the user will
be prompted to download the file. Just import the file into your web, and
create hyperlink to it.
