The USBs (4) are not showing on my system. They did show previously - we
updated with Microsoft Service Pack 2 for Windows XP and the problem started
afterwards. We have removed SP2 but could not get the USB to appear. We ran
all kinds of Adware - Spybot - Shedder - HiJack This and We also talked with
Microsoft Support - told to upgrade back to the SP2 (with Virusware disabled
- this may have not be done the first time). Completed that task and we do
not see the USB ports/drive in My Computer or Explorer.
What can we do to correct this problem?

The Bios are enabled. The IRQ for USB = 21, the IRQ 9 = Microsoft ACPI
Compliant System.
With the SP 2 for Windows installed would there be drivers for USB for SP2?
USBs are not working.

Hi,

They are not seen in device manager? If so, then this is a BIOS problem if
they are not seen by the add hardware wizard.
