USB

Running XP SP2 (up to date). Have 2 USB 1 ports on back of computer. Both
are in use (keyboard and mouse). I need a 3rd port for a DSL line (upgrade
from dialup). Is there some 'splitter' that will allow more than one device
to be connected to one port ? If so, can it be a USB 2 even though this is a
USB 1 port ?
Any help is very much appreciated.
