Hello

I have a compaq presario 2100 laptop. This laptop has 2 USB ports and
1 PS/2 port. I recently bought a USB to PS/2 adaptor in order to use
ny USB mouse in the PS/2 port.
i can see that the mouse optic gives red light and when you nove it,
it also becomes bold red. this shows that the mouse is working but the
cursor doesn't move.
Any idea is highly appreciatted.
thank you

Not all usb-to-ps/2 adapters work with all mice. Usually if a mouse has
that option, it will come with the ps/2 adapter. A good solution is to
buy a powered usb hub instead. I just bought one for $20 at the office
supply store and it has 4 usb ports.
