USB spy

I'm a system administrator and working in a security area. Any USB plug-in
hardware devices like Pendrive Camera etc.. is forbidden. I was asked to
look for some software that tracks users violating the above restrictions.
This software could be installed inside the users PC's(I can install it from
my server), in the Domain Controller or anywhere.

What are the alternatives available in the market?

Thanks in advance

Wouldn't that be a bit like closing the door after the horse got away?
Why not just disable the USB?

Disabling USB functionality both at a BIOS level, and from within
windows would be ever so much more effective. You could even consider
desoldering or blocking the USB ports.

I have the same problem, and the answer is that in many cases, you
have valid peripherals to install through USB ports (printers, bars
scanners, etc.)

Not the same, "Any USB plug-in hardware devices like Pendrive Camera
etc.. is forbidden." in my book, means ANY "USB plug-in..... is
forbidden." In your case, removing selected INF files may suffice to
prevent device recognition.
