Greetings all. I just installed a card reader in my system. This is the kind
that installs in a floppy bay, has SM, SD, XD CF card slots, and a USB 2
port. Plugged in to the motherbaord. All the slots work fine. Problem is
with the USB port. If I am in a program and try to save to the USB port, it
screws up. System just hangs. I have to remove the flash drive, then the
system clears. However, if I do an action through Windows Explorer (move or
copy to the USB port) it works fine. Any ideas what is going on...and how
to fix?
P4, WinXP SP2
Thanks.

Check the pin readouts for both the motherboard and the multi-unit.
