I am having problems with my USB MS 8000 kbd and mouse and wonder if there
is a way to set the USB priority of this interface to the top level?
How to do?
Where can I see what USB devices are set up?

Where can I see what USB devices are set up?

Control panel > (click on classic view link on the left pane) > Device
manager> expand the USB tree

can you tell us what the nature of the problem is?

When I plug in a thumb drive or other USB device, the mouse and keyboard are
locked out until Windows decides to let me have it back. This can take from
several seconds to minutes.

All USB interfaces are on the motherboard. There is no USB hub involved.

You don't say what type of mouse and keyboard you are using. Are they PS/2
or USB?

Thanks CBoom. I was having a USB Mouse "sticking" problem (it would pause
every 10 seconds or so). I switch USB ports and I THINK the problem is gone.
