USB Ports

Help - Inadvertently removed USB ports from Device Manager - Tried to reinstall by rebooting - new hardware window popped up, but couldn't find the software automatically - and I coudn't find it manually - wouldn't pick it up from any of the usual directories. So, I reinstalled SP1, hoping that would fix the any currupt files, but still same problem

How do I get the latest XP USB drivers to install correctly for my USB Ports? Any ideas are greatly appreciated

(Running Win XP Pro on ThinkPad T30 - with 2 USB 1.1 ports on back of machine). Thanks

Hi,

The driver files which are required are deleted. The best option is to
reinstall the driver from the CD provided with the laptop. Else you may
download it from the manufacturers website (www.ibm.com). The site will
provide the latest drivers which can be installed on the laptop.

Hope it helps!
