USB Ports

My USB port on another PC of mine seems to have stopped working, this is the
PC that I normally plug my Cable modem into, however the USB ports seem to
have stopped working. Would anyone have any idea as to how I could fix this?
Is there anyway I cxan fix this through Control Panel, for example. Rather
than replacing the port?
