USB ports not working

My comp. has 4 USB ports (factory installed). Two of
the ports are not working (with any devices). Same
devices attached to either of the 2 working ports work
fine. (A device that works on a functioning port doesn't
work on a 'problem' port.)
BIOS is current & a check in Sys Utilities shows USB
"enabled". Troubleshooting doesn't show anything. Dev.
Mgr shows 2 USB Controllers & 2 Hubs. Each hub has 2
ports (1 with a functioning device; 1 avail.).
Any input in what is wrong & how to fix this will be
VERY appreciated!
