USB Ports in Windows XP

I have a Dell Inspiron 8500. Usb ports were working
great, but suddenly, stop working. I reinstalled sp1 to
no avail. Any help would be apprciate.

Did someone turn them off in the BIOS??

Check and see if this is the case. Under
USB in the BIOS.
