USB Port Addresses

I have 3 printers connected via USB to my XP system. Kodak Photo Printer;
Epson Color Stylus 880; and HP Laser Jet. Device Manager indicates there are
not 3 USB Printer Support open, but only two. One driver is Microsoft with
LOCATION 0; the other USB Printer Support open has the same driver loaded as
the XP printer, at the same LOCATION 0 ... But with the name Kodak Photo
Printer ... however does not work. The Epson printer is not recognized. How
does one get XP USB Ports to recognized devices are connected. I have run
RESCAN FOR PLUG & PLAY; and also tried to reload Drivers from installed
software to no avail. What am I missing? Thanks for any help/suggestions.
